Comparison
Punctilio vs Digify
Digify sells serious security to serious budgets. Most small teams are paying for the wrong half.
Digify has real security pedigree. Encryption is thorough, the DRM options go deeper than most teams will ever use, and the product has been at this for a decade. None of that is in dispute here.
The dispute is what a small team pays to get in the door. Pro starts at $140 a month for a single user when billed annually, or $190 month to month, with 3 data rooms and 50 guests. Dynamic watermarking is a paid add-on at that tier. A three-person team lands on Team at $350 a month billed annually, or $500 month to month. E-signing and client document collection are not on the published plans at any price, so the deal stack still needs a second and third product on top.
Punctilio covers the small-team version of the same job at $29.99 a month for 3 seats, plus $5 a month for each additional seat: data rooms with watermarking and NDA gates, e-signing with templates and audit artifacts, and checklist-based document collection with malware scanning. All core features are in one plan.

When Digify is still the right call
We would rather you pick the right tool than pick us. Digify makes sense if:
You need heavy document rights management.
Digify’s DRM stack is deep: end-to-end passkey encryption, screen shield, print-and-download revocation, and one-time sharing. If your threat model demands it, it is there.
Your counterparties edit in Microsoft Office.
Team and up integrate editing for DOCX, PPTX, and XLSX inside the room. Punctilio renders previews instead.
You need enterprise plumbing.
SSO, white-label URLs, and API access live on Digify’s Business tier at $1,500 a month billed annually. Punctilio does not offer SSO or a public API.
You need a closing archive with a counsel-facing comfort letter.
Digify issues closing archives with a comfort letter, which some processes require. Punctilio exports the whole room as a zip on demand, so nothing is stranded, but it does not issue a comfort letter for deal counsel.
If none of those describe you, you are paying $350 a month on annual billing for controls Punctilio includes at $29.99, and still buying signing somewhere else.
